What is Asynchronous E-Learning

What is the difference between asynchronous and synchronous learning? What is a Learning Management System? Many of us get confused. This infographic explains it all!

There are many issues associated with asynchronous learning and accessibility for deaf people. Many self paced e-learning courses I have come across i.e. Khan Academy and Edx do not have subtitles or sign language translations for their courses. The deaf are being denied funding for interpreter support in face to face classes (it happens all the time) and these online courses can’t be accessed. A double disadvantage I say.
